This book is written for those with medium or sharp intelligence to understand the state of Nirvana. Readers are encouraged to study it repeatedly with mindfulness until the matter is clear. This is the English translation of the Sinhala edition, prepared by Sri Sinharaja for the Sri Chandawimala Dhamma Treatises Preservation Board (Sri Vinayalankararamaya, Pokunuwita). The Board gave its permission to translate; its review of this first edition is in progress, and corrections are welcome. Every paragraph carries the Sinhala original behind it, and the key Pali terms are marked.
