The Explanation of the Auspicious Blessings

This book contains an explanation of the thirty-eight auspicious blessings included in the Maha Mangala Sutta. By reading this and gaining an understanding of these blessings, readers can guide their lives toward both worldly and spiritual progress. This is the English translation of the Sinhala edition, prepared by Sri Sinharaja for the Sri Chandawimala Dhamma Treatises Preservation Board (Sri Vinayalankararamaya, Pokunuwita). The Board gave its permission to translate; its review of this first edition is in progress, and corrections are welcome. Every paragraph carries the Sinhala original behind it, and the key Pali terms are marked.
